Itawamba Community College
Crafting a new brand for Itawamba Community College (ICC) was a project that held a special place in my heart. Located in Fulton, Mississippi, ICC had a personal connection for me, as my grandfather coached football there in the 1950s, and my parents attended the school in the 1980s. When ICC approached us for a brand refresh, I was honored to take on the project.
The challenge was creating a brand identity that would honor the school's proud past while launching them into a promising future. Our team worked hard to create a dynamic and robust system reflecting the school's values, culture, and aspirations. The final logomark and logotype were carefully crafted to create a visual identity that would resonate with the school's diverse stakeholders, from current and prospective students to alumni, faculty, and staff.
In addition to the new marks, we also created an intensive brand standards manual to guide the school in establishing the new look. The manual provided a comprehensive set of guidelines for consistently using the new brand identity across all touchpoints, from print collateral and digital media to merchandise and signage.
I'm proud of our team's work for Itawamba Community College and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important project. The new brand identity is a testament to the school's commitment to excellence, and I'm excited to see how it will help ICC achieve its goals and reach new heights.
